On Sunday we celebrated my nephew, Nathan’s, 12th birthday at his house with a pool party. The weather was pretty strange, as it has been all this summer but everybody had a good time getting together to swim, eat and enjoy a few refreshments with family. Of course our Princess was there too so she is in a few of these pictures also. Happy Birthday Nathan and congratulations to Ben & Maggie! Enjoy!

On Sunday I met up with Carly and Mike at the Civic Park in Auburn Hills . Mike is one of Auburn Hills finest and wanted to see if he could get some pictures with a police vehicle, as well as the new buildings that Auburn Hills has these days. We had a fun time wandering around the park and the buildings on the property. Now that was fun even though we got eaten up a little by mosquitos. Oh the hazards of my job. Enjoy!
On Saturday I met up with Rachel and Cory in downtown Royal Oak for some engagement photos. They will be getting married in September of this year and it should be some fun times. Thanks for being so great to work with..enjoy!
Some of you might remember my little model Leah who I photographed for her first year. This was direction I wanted to head in but unfortunately weddings, and the money associated with them, kept me going in that direction. I have some time over the next month or so to decide how I want to proceed with my children photography which is what I want to do over the next few years. Weddings will always be my strongest passion though. I will be putting the “First Year Of Leah” album together and that might just be the spark I need to continue down that road. I love taking baby pictures and feel a strong passion to continue with it. I hope that the weddings I have done over the years will lead me to new families who need a family photographer. We will see, but for now here is a few images I captured of Leah on her birthday this past week. Oh yea folks, don’t think I’m not going to continue with weddings. As I said earlier, it is what I love to do most of all in this life.
I really don’t have time to put a slideshow together of our wonderful trip up north this past week so I thought I would just throw a few photos of the week up for now. Maybe in a while, when I’m caught up, I will have time to do a slideshow. There was just so much fun things to shoot and picking out the pictures would be a task. Kind of what brides go through when trying to pick out there favorites for their wedding album. Now I see why it takes so long. Now it’s back to work for me.
