The weekend of September 4th and 5th I photographed two very fun weddings. It was long hard days but they don’t seem that way to me when I’m having so much fun. I am very much behind with my post of this wedding as I have been having some serious technical issues with my MAC and their new operating system Snow Leopard. That’s enough about that, I hope. Rachel and Cory were married at St. John Lutheran Church in New Haven, MI. The reception was held at the Barrister Gardens where everyone had a great time. Check back soon as I hope to start getting caught up with my slide-shows soon after this weekend, where I have two weddings once again. On Friday I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Marie and Stephen at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in New Haven. Stephan and Marie actually live in Indiana but were married here where her family is located. What a great day for a wedding with some of the nicest people I have ever worked with. It sure makes my job easier when I can have fun doing what I love to do, take pictures. Here are just a few of the pictures from the day. I hope to get the slideshow done soon also but wanted to get something up quickly so Stephen and Marie could have some pics to share with their Facebook friends. Enjoy!

Saturday was an awesome day to shoot a wedding. Christina and Aaron couldn’t have picked a better day for their festivities. We started at Salon Noir in Bruce Township for some fun shots of the girls getting ready for the big event. It always amazes me to see what the girls go through compared to the guys. While the girls were having fun at the Salon the guys were just hanging out drinking beer out of the old boot. The ceremony was held at St. Clement of Rome Parish and the reception venue was Addison Oaks. After the ceremony we headed off to Rochester for some fun shots of the wedding party. And what would a Saturday be without Jim Shields Photography holding up traffic in a major intersection in the Detroit area. I think I need to hire more assistants to stop traffic in these intersections as the traffic seems to be getting heavier these days. Of course Rochester Road is always busy. Video for the day was provided by Mary and Mike from Bees Video Productions and the entertainment was provided by my favorite of all (they did two of my own kids weddings) Music Box Productions. I’ve said it over and over again, Music Box knows how to rock a party all night long, and Rod and Eric did a fantastic job at this wedding.Congratulations Christina and Aaron.
