Princess Norah Turns Two

Our Princess Norah came over on Saturday for some two-year old pictures. All I can say is what Lauri always says, “pretty stinkin’ cute”. This little girl is the real deal, and a real girly girl for sure. She has the looks and the personality to match. You will notice one of these pictures where she wasn’t getting what she wanted at the moment. I think you will be able to figure out which one that is. You might also notice a little “bed jumping” training going on here. I think John is training her young for that. I have a lot of these pictures that I need to edit but will be waiting for the new version of Photoshop that comes out real soon to finish them up. It has some real cool features that I want to try on the rest of these images. Oh well, I now have two little grandchildren since Ethan came along. He is coming over this week for some pictures too. I can’t wait for those pictures. I now have a Princess and a Prince. How lucky can I get. Stay tuned for those pictures coming soon. Enjoy.

The Wedding of Carissa & Alek-the slideshow

On Saturday, March 20, 2010 I photographed the wedding of Carissa and Alek. What a fun filled day it was. We started off at the Aqua Salon in Southgate where the girls got pampered with their hair and makeup. Then we were off to the Little Ida Baptist Church in Southgate where they tied the knot with an emotion filled ceremony. It is nice to see couples who love each other soooo much. It makes my job so enjoyable to document those moments for them. It is a job I don’t take lightly that’s for sure. Both sides of the families were awesome to work with.

After the ceremony we headed over to the Henry Ford Museum for some fun pictures before heading off to Lovett Hall for the reception. The video was done by Stacy and Carrie from “A Moment Forever”, and the entertainement was provided by Matt & Greg from Encore Event Group.

As I write this post I realize that Carissa and Alek are enjoying the nice weather in the Bahamas. I really think they should have brought me along to document the trip, but oh well, I’ve got work to do.  I had a great time. Enjoy the show.

Welcome Ethan John Wywierowski

On Thursday Deb received a phone call at 7:30 in the morning that our daughter Jessica was going to get admitted into her room at St. John Hospital as she was in labor with our newest addition to our family. Little Ethan John (formerly known as Baby “W”) was born at 4:36PM that day.  The Doctor told Jess and Tony that he was just perfect. I guess he was saying that all the way along, and then he confirmed it that day after meeting little Ethan.

After Jessica finally threw us out of the room at 4:10PM we were instructed to go to the waiting room until it was all over with. Of course I was impatient and couldn’t sit in that dumb waiting room without knowing something so I went back to see if everything was moving along. The door was closed but I heard a crying baby behind “Door #8″, which was the birthing room they were in. I was so happy to hear that noise from behind that door and came back to the waiting room with a big smile on my face. We have had just a small amount of time to spend with Ethan but it always brings us so much joy to spend time with both of our grandchildren, Norah and Ethan. Our family is the most important things in our lives and we value every second we have with them. Welcome to the family Ethan. We love you!

Norah Grace Turns “Two”

On Sunday we celebrated Princess Norah Grace’s second birthday party at her house along with Jen (my daughter-in-law), who also is celebrating her birthday (I never tell what number if they are over 21). Next year will be a lot busier as we are expecting the delivery of our next grandchild any day now, which means we will be having one more birthday to celebrate. Our Jessica is due on Wednesday of this week and her brothers set up a pool to see who is closest to the date and time of delivery. Here are a few pictures of the big party. If you are a friend of mine on Facebook you can see more there. Enjoy!

Henry Ford Museum

On Saturday Deb and I visited The Henry Ford Museum which was compliments of Carissa and Alek who will be getting married in a few weeks and wanted me to have a chance to check out the locations before their big day. Thanks so much Carissa and Alek for the tickets. Deb and I haven’t been to The Henry Ford Museum in a few years so it was nice to re-visit and see all the changes since our last visit. Of course the one thing that caught my eye most was the airplane when you first walk in. And then there is the Diner, the cars, the locomotives…well anyways it was a blast. Thanks again to Carissa and Alek for the tickets. Looking forward to your big day coming up real soon.
