The Wedding of Meghan and Christopher…the sneak peek

Last Saturday I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of Meghan and Christopher at Grey Stone Golf Club. This was the second wedding I have done for this family and we had a great time.It was a rainy day but it didn’t stop this group from having a blast. I think this could be considered a wedding as well as a “Trash the Dress” session.  Here is just a sneak peek of the day. Enjoy!

The Wedding of Jen & Ben…the slideshow

On Saturday, August 14, 2010, I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Jen and Ben as they start their new lives together as man and wife. Both families were so nice to work with, which is why I love my job so much. The ceremony was held at St. James Catholic Church in Ferndale and the reception was at the beautiful Petruzzello’s in Troy, MI. Ben’s family is Scottish (as am I) and the bagpiper was present for the ceremony and the reception. Kilts were worn later in the evening, as you will see in the slideshow below. The entertainment was provided by the awesome Jerry Ross Band. The cake was by Mannino’s Bakery in Sterling Heights and the flowers were by the Farmington Center Florist in Farmington Hills, MI. These photos are available for viewing by clicking HERE. Enjoy the show!

The Wedding of Lotricia & Michael…the sneak peek

I was surprised when I got the call from Lotricia and Michael to photograph their wedding day on August 15, 2010. When she called I thought she was talking about August 15, 2011, but that wasn’t the case. They have been married for over a year now and this was their public celebration of marriage. I shot “Getting to Know You” photos just last week to give us a chance to know each other before the wedding day. This is something I love to do so that when the day comes along we already know each other and it makes it so much smoother on the big day. Michael is in the service and was able to come home last Friday for this celebration, but he will be heading back in a few weeks. Hopefully he can come back to be with Lotricia for the birth of their child in a few months. Lotricia also tells me all of her preferred vendors were in the “4 the Best” contest, of which I am currently in 2nd place in the Wedding Photographer category. The wedding cakes were provided by “Sweet Heather Anne” of Ann Arbor. Here is a sneak peek of their wedding photos. Enjoy!

The Wedding of Kristen & Anthony…the slideshow

Last Saturday I had the honor of documenting the wedding of Kristen & Anthony as they begin their journey together as man and wife. We started off at the Royal Park Hotel where Kristen was getting ready and went from there to St. Anastasia Catholic Church for the ceremony. Then we were off to downtown Birmingham for a some group photos before heading to Penna’s of Sterling Heights for the reception. I have known Kristen and Anthony for some time now as I did their engagement photos quite a while ago and we also follow each other on Facebook. It’s funny how when you are friends on Facebook you seem to get to know them even more. Gotta love social media these days. The families were great to work with and I ran in to an old boss of mine (and his brother), from many years ago, who was the brother of Anthony’s Mom. The entertainment (and I do mean entertainment) was provided by the band “Persuasion”and the video was by Swensen Video of Sterling Heights. Here is the slideshow of their day. Enjoy!
