Prince Ethan John was in the studio last night for his 7 month pictures. I swear I’m doing his monthly pictures on a weekly basis. Before you know it he will be asking Mom and Dad for the car keys. Ethan is such an inquisitive little boy. He loves to check everything out that’s going on around him. This was a super fun session as he was in a great mood and loves the attention he gets. Enjoy!
On Saturday, October 23, 2010, I was asked by a friend of mine, Kevin Murawski, if I could second shoot a wedding of his in Marine City. Kevin and I do this once in a while with each other and it gives us opportunities to try different things that we may want to try. When you are by yourself you have to get the safe shots and often times don’t get a chance to play around with different things like you will see in the pictures below. Now I’m not saying this will be my style in the future but it was fun to play with the church pictures since the sky was already so dramatic on this rainy Saturday. Enjoy!
The other day Shauna came over and we headed out into the woods to do some senior pictures of her. We had done Shauna’s studio session about a month ago and this was the outdoor session that goes along with the fee. She is such a sweet teenager and I enjoyed working with her as well as her parents. It sounds like they will be relocating to Florida soon and they are going to miss all the fun shoveling snow this winter. Okay, I admit it, I’m jealous. I used to live in Florida myself as a teenager and it was a great time in my life. Hope you enjoy the photos!
On Sunday, October 24, 2010, I had the privilege of helping out Robert Bruce shoot the wedding of Annsy and Reggie at the beautiful St. George Orthodox Church in Troy, MI. The reception was at the Royalty House in Warren, MI, the entertainment was provided by Sachin Gupta, the video was by Music Box Productions and the flowers were done by Vivianos. It was a fantastic day for a wedding and I enjoyed working with the families as well as the great vendors for this wedding, which is one of the nicest parts of my job, getting to work with fun people. Here is a sneak peek from this wedding.
On September 25th my son John and I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jess and Jeff at the beautiful Glen Oaks Golf Club. It was a great day for an outdoor wedding with great light and the temperatures weren’t too bad. The ceremony was put on hold for just a few extra minutes since the officiant was stuck in traffic and everyone was waiting for the ceremony to start. Well he did show up, thank heavens, since I’m not licensed to do it, and the rest is history. Jess and Jeff tied the knot in front of family and friends and then it was off to the celebration. And a great celebration it was. The entertainment was provided by Mike Staff Productions for the evening. Here is the slideshow of the day. Enjoy!
