Jake | senior 2013

Last week Jake, his parents and I headed out into the fields to do some Senior portraits of Jake who will be graduating from Romeo High School in 2013. We had some fun in the woods but almost got in a little trouble when some guy showed up asking why we were parking on the private property lot while we did some shots on the railroad tracks. We seemed to calm him down and finished up and then got out of town before we got into any trouble. I have been shooting there for a few years now and this was the first time this guy was around. We might have to find another spot before he gets too mad. Oh well, we got the shots and moved on.

Claire | Lutheran High Northwest class of 2012

Here are a few pictures of Claire I got a few weeks ago during her first session for senior pictures. The colors were still out and we got some nice images even if it was pretty cold. I think it was in the 40′s that day but we were back in the woods without too much wind so it wasn’t too bad. I know her dog Alex loved running around back there and he makes a few appearances in these shots, as well as Claire’s cousins, Brandon and Jordan. I did their pictures a few weeks earlier, but Claire wanted some pictures with her two cousins, so we got them out of bed early on a Saturday morning to get these shots. I’m sure Brandon and Jordan will figure a way out to pay her back for that one. These kids are all great kids with wonderful families. We know because they all go to our church, St. John Lutheran Church in Fraser, Michigan. And oh by the way, shortly after taking these images we heard that Claire had just received a free ride to Wayne State University. Way to go Claire, congratulations. Enjoy!

Jacob | Lutheran High North class of 2012

As I mentioned in my last post Jacob was next up on the editing board. This session was done together with Brandon and Jordan a few weeks ago except Jacob has come in for his studio pictures as well. What a great time I had with these three. Both of these families are from our church so I have watched these kids grow up in front of me and turn into some wonderful young men. I’m sure they will do great with whatever they choose in life. Next up will be Claire, and Brandon and Jordan will show up in those pictures as well since Claire is their cousin and they wanted pictures together, with both of their dogs, who are also brother and sister. I know that’s confusing but just try to keep up, I know it’s hard with the way I ramble on. Enjoy

Brandon & Jordan | 2012 SENIORS

On Sunday, October 16, I met up with Brandon and Jordan (twins), as well as Jacob, who is a good friend from the same high school. The weather held out and the leaves still had some color, which won’t last much longer now. This was there outdoor session but we will still be doing some shots in the studio as well. These guys were lots of fun to photograph. This is mostly shots of the Brandon and Jordan, but I slipped a few in from Jacob as well since they are all friends. Jacob is next up on the edit boards so stay tuned for his pictures, coming soon.

Michelle & Jeremy | Prom 2011

Tonight I met up with Michelle and Jeremy by a local park just before they headed off to Jeremy’s prom at Penna’s of Sterling Heights. What a cute couple they make. Jeremy will be heading to Wayne State University where he was awarded a full ride to attend. Better not let that one go Jeremy. Hope you have a GREAT time tonight at the prom.
