Today I found out that I finished 5th in the “Vote for the Best” contest for 2010 in the Wedding Photographer category. I personally know three of the four photographers who finished ahead of me and truly believe they deserve their honor. I want to thank everyone who voted this year and feel so blessed to have such great friends and clients. I could not do this without any of you. Being able to do what I love to do for a living is a dream come true so all I can say is never give up on your dreams, they do come true when the time is right. It is that time of year again where we all get a chance to vote for our favorite local business in the “Vote for the Best” contest put on by our local Channel 4 News. More than 5,600 businesses are currently competing for the title of Detroit’s Best. Voting ends Monday, September 6th. Last year was my second year being nominated and I felt I did okay, but as with everything I do, I want to do better! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all the support from everyone who has already voted. It is very much appreciated. Please feel free to pass along this post link to anyone you think might wish to help out our effort. I do love my job and wish all the businesses the best of luck in the competition.
