The Wedding of Catie and Dan – the slideshow

On Friday, June 1, 2012, I was privileged to photograph the wedding of Catie and Dan at St. Germaine’s Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores. The weatherman threaded rain all day so the locations were switched up a little. George George Park was the original plan but with the rain threatening we ended up at the DIA for the group shots. The “first look” shots were done at the church which was just down the street from Catie’s Moms house. From there we headed off to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit to visit Catie’s Aunt who was hospitalized and unable to attend. So we started off with a few tears but things got better once we got to the DIA. After the DIA we stopped at a colorful building on Grand Boulevard in Detroit for pictures with their cool sunflower umbrellas. Once the photos were done we were off to the Lakeland Manor in St. Clair Shores for the rest of the evening. The entertainment was provided by the awesome Rodman from Music Box Productions and Rod always keep the party going. This was a great wedding party to work with along with the families.
